I hand-form wall and tabletop sculptures in porcelain. This particular work is glazed with a pale sea green and ribbons of a hue that recall seaweed... I am passionate about working in porcelain because it is a sensuous, challenging material that allows me to create works that are wafer thin and organic. My inspiration comes from the local landscape, where beaches, rocky shorelines, and beautiful gardens are all nearby. It is my hope that living with one of my sculptures will inspire and remind you of nature's gifts.

When I discovered that I could take raw porcelain in the palm of my hand and fashion it into delicate, intricate, organic forms, I never looked back. By shaping every sculpture with my hands I can achieve the full range of energy and expression I seek. Each sculpture shape recalls the forms and motion of flowers, sea plants and ocean waves which are on Cape Ann, my home, and where the earth and ocean meet in spectacular forms. My work as a porcelain artist is an extension of my writing about interior design and architecture. Both are about making our homes beautiful and authentic. Architectural Digest has characterized my work as "the epitome of nature-inspired elegance". That is what I work to achieve in each piece I create. I have been working in ceramics since 2003 and began working in porcelain in 2011. Today I have collectors across the globe and several public installations across the US in luxury hotels and lobbies.
