The ravages of war Handpulled new media estampe in a limited edition of 6 prints. These contemporary times almost in every part of the world one finds the existence of some violent conflict that is taking place. Although l have never been in the middle of any of these outbreaks, I have talked to some people who have actually been in the middle of a similar event, some were innocent victims who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time much against their choice. Others were fighting men who were there for some reason because they believed in it. After all these rencontres I could only ask myself “what are the rewards of war? Can there be any real advantage that could compensate the suffering of the innocent?”

Born 1954 India Now have my art studio in Angers in France.Have been painting and etching for more than 25 years.My inspiration comes from my working experience with S.W.Hayter and other contemperory artists like Krishna Reddy. Now do mainly digital works like painting and printmaking. For this I have developed a new form of new media prints using digitalized technique and maroufled onto a heavy art paper of at least 300 gms. After the transfer by marouflage of the printed onto the heavy art paper it is once again worked on by the artist to obtain the art effect and printed in a limited edition of 8 prints + 1 artist's proof, with signature and number. The paintings also are digital works on art paper that has been maroufled onto a canvas that is signed by me. All work is done by me in my personal art studio in Angers in France. The work is mostly inspired from my ramblings in the countryside and the sensation or feelings thus produced which I try to share with the spectators of my works.
