I majored in anthropology and interested in the concept of human in aboriginal cultures. Bunun is a Taiwanese aboriginal group and they have unique concept of human beings. Bunun means human being. They called body as logbo and this comes from mother. Two hanido, spirit, are inherited from father's testicles. Mashia hanido is a social spirit located in the right shoulder and makwan hanido located in left shoulder is a selfish spirit. Is-ang is an independent spirit and it makes the final decision from the battle of mashiahanido and makwan hanido. To express the complicated concept of human in Bunun, I choose static paintings and dynamic color squares to compose the relationship inside the human.

My main interest is looking for ordinary scenes in daily life then converting them to unfamiliar faces. Now, I am trying to combine big data and mobile devices to explore the boundary of art.
