The aesthetic obsession with the millennial festival, in which "meat is worth", is within the same line of creative impulse that the painter maintained for many years and that unifies the worlds with the same underlying tradition. Attention to that tradition is not gratuitous due to Tessarolo's own ancestral determinism. The Carnival of Venice is a festival that connects with all the memories that the peninsula accumulates and from which that Rome that knew and had the way of assimilating and controlling peoples with pagan rituals that persist in the current logics of cultural and cultural construction is not excluded. also in which the modern market is the backbone. In any case, the countless pictorial pieces that Tessarolo has placed in private and official collections around the world are a legacy of that Weltanschauung not only for his two countries of origin, Argentina and Italy. They are also for their adopted homeland, Colombia.

Germán Tessarolo was born in Venice, Italy, in 1945. At the age of three months, he emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, with his family. His great-grandfather, Antonio Baggio, was a professor of drawing and sculpture at the Beaux Arts in Venice; his father, Aldo Armando Tessarolo, was a baritone and violinist; and his uncle, Germán Tessarolo Baggio, was a painter and publicist. Since he was a child, Tessarolo showed a great passion for painting and drawing, participating in several collective and individual exhibitions. In 1969, he decided to settle in Bogota, Colombia, where he developed his career as a painter, constantly traveling to Europe and the United States. In Colombia, Tessarolo is recognized for his talent and constant creativity, which has projected him from Bogota to countries such as the United States, France, Spain, Germany, Chile, Peru and Mexico, where he has exhibited successfully. In addition to being an outstanding painter, Germán Tessarolo is also a publicist. For him, advertising and art are deeply inspiring and creative activities. A publicist by day and painter by night, Tessarolo has worked with companies, associations and foundations in the development, launching and positioning of campaigns and brands. His goal has always been to make a difference, creating identity and a sense of belonging. Germán Tessarolo is one of the pioneers of art therapy in Colombia. For more than 25 years, through “Neuro Arte - Terapias de Motivación”, he has been conducting inspiring workshops with private and public entrepreneurs from different sectors of the industry, as well as with foundations and associations. His work encompasses an infinite number of themes, techniques and colors, always maintaining a coherence in style and brushstrokes. His paintings reflect the artist's emotions: joy, love, eroticism, travel, nostalgia, pain, mystery, transformation and beauty. To learn more about his work, visit: germantessarolo.com.
