The Cabrillo Bridge stands at the western entrance to Balboa Park. This park is considered the "jewel" of San Diego California. People can walk across the bridge and get a good view of downtown San Diego. The bridge and the tower in the distance were built in 1915 for an exposition celebrating the opening of the Panama Canal. This 14 X 11 inch oil painting is on stretched canvas over a wooden frame.
