Passing clouds portend spring rain to the Anza-Borrego desert park in southwest California. The much-needed rain will help to ease the drought and cause a carpet of sprightly wildflowers to bloom. Visitors will soon arrive to enjoy the desert in bloom. The best timing is the end of March and beginning of May. The original 11 X 14 inch oil painting is on stretched canvas over a wood frame.
